Will be in Costa Teguise this weekend for the Blackburn game. I know of Arthur's City Bar in Puerto Del Carmen but can't be arsed with an hours bus ride to get there. Anybody know of a bar in Costa Teguise that shows live games please?

I used to Rep in Costa Teguise (Summer 2004 - 2005).
The best two places are Sports Bar (3-4 screens with nice food, situated facing the Occidental Playa Hotel in the centre of the resort) and Legends (just down the road from the main strip, near the Gran Melia Salias Hotel).
Legends has a big, well massive, screen but I'd personally recommend Sports Bar as the food is nicer and as it is more central to the resort, there'll be more atmosphere.

Yeah, Rancho Texas is awesome if you've got kids.
If you haven't, go on the Catamaran (Catlanza based in Puerto Calero) - it costs about 50 quid and you go sailing around the island chilling out with the Dolphins, BBQ on board and all-inclusive drinks. Awesome for couples as they do adult only sailings.

Legends! Now that is good news, it's the nearest bar to our hotel! Cheers for the heads up folks.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I will be in Protoras, Cyprus, for the Salzburg and Wigan game next week.

Are you guys winding me up? I was a rep in Costa Teguise in 2004 - 2005 and Protaras in 2006. *I've just got a bit freaked out by this Blue Power*
Anyway, In Protaras there's loads of bars along the main strip - they tend to specialise in showing Friends, Only Fools and Horses and Elvis impersonators.
The best bar for football is just outside Protaras in the district of Pernera but I can't for the life of me remember what it's call - it's directly facing the Windmill Bar if that helps?
You won't be able to miss it, there's a massive windmill and directly facing is a bar with loads of shirts hanging from the ceiling. It's next door to Pizza Hut.
Agia Napa is only 10 minutes away so watching the Salzburg game at Linekers is worth a shout.
