To play the level of football we did in those conditions was truly a credit to both teams. Great game to watch and what a fabulous result. Would've been reasonably happy with a 2 goal cushion to take to Germany but 3 is even better. What a night!

It is calculated based on passing, which often gets heavily skewed the losing team’s side when they are down by multiple goals and the winning team spends the last bit of the match just defending to shutdown any recovery.

That is especially the case in the first match of a two-legged it. There was an article about this awhile ago but I can’t find the link.
