BBC: lorry deliberately ploughs in to german christmas market

Just watching it on Sky News. Be very surprised if the death toll remains anywhere near single figures looking at that. Awful. Just absolutely awful.
 
Fucking hell, I was hoping that this was an accident but it's sounding more and more like it was deliberate.

I spent a very enjoyable few days on Munich's Xmas markets the week before last, and Cologne's a couple of years ago.

With 50 reported injuries I think you might be right. It's madness, driver has fled the scene apparently.
 
makes you wonder,,me and the Mrs were planning to go to the markets and if we had gone we would have been there now, i apreciate there are many markets but Berlin would have been the choice
