Did you know that they counted the Ronaldo transfer fee in that figure. Course under normal circs, this would not be possible because transfer fees tend to be paid in instalments over a few years. Bit desperate, really. As for the question about who is desperate. One look at the books should tell you all you need to know about that. Nil debt vs £666 million debt? No brainer. I take it the OP is a rag and a pretty pathetic and deluded one at that. But aren't they all.

168 posts in five and a half years? If he is a rag, he's been biding his time very well Pam!

Well it's hard to know where he's coming from, then, Jim.

It's obvious the OP was saying the headlines were misleading.

Anyone who can't see that is unhealthily obsessed with the rags.

How the hell are they misleading?

They give the impression that we're in financial trouble while things are rosy with the rags.

the angle taken in the headlines is misleading; a straightforward reading of them would imply that City are the ones in trouble and the rags are doing brilliantly.

What the OP is trying to say, if I understand it, is that the headlines show us in the worst light when in fact we have the most financially stable owner, despite the figures.

Reading those snippets you would think that we were in financial difficulties not them.
