No, this is not another parody thread of the ones hitting the news recently (though that said, how long before someone makes a topic now about Speedos?)
This advert was on Channel 5 this morning whilst I was in the kitchen making some breakfast and near made my coffee leak out my nose. So you have a new kids toy to promote in the run up to Christmas, what name will make the parents run to the shops and violent hunt down every last one? Beados of course. Do you think at any point someone at the company said "Hang on guys, this might be the wrong name for us, especially so soon after the backlash over the Cyril Smith space hoppers".

Still, not as bad as when I saw the new Mentos advert on E4. I went through all my life calling them Men-toes, don't know if it is me mispronouncing all these years or a dislike of the actual way to pronounce it, but I haven't bought a packet of Mentoss since.
