Bee network bus strike

Noticed a few buses did run yesterday.
Was in town and a #8 and 100 passed me.

Assume it was Managers and maybe the odd scab driver behind the wheel?
The 100 and 67, which are similar routes for the most part, both ran to their normal timetable every day through out the strikes.

Only reason I can think of is if they maybe run out of the Bolton depot, who weren't on strike, even though neither of them go anywhere near Bolton?

Aside from the strikes next week on the 30th September until the 2nd October Unite has announced another six days of industrial action to take place on October 10, 11, 13, 18, 23 and 24. The 18th October will affect our game against Everton.

Lots of confusion here now. Hearing on the BBC that the strikes are cancelled, but school says they've not been told any different and to plan for journeys to and from school without busses.

Apparently they've been offered 9.5%?

If you go on the TfGM website or app you can enter the bus number to see if it's affected

Apart from doing the football specials that was my dad's favourite route when he was a bus driver at Hyde Road
Spoken to a couple of drivers who said the section between ancoats and McVities is probably the most interesting drive of any bus route.

I wouldn't trust their website regarding affected bus schedules.

Had a complete nightmare getting home from Manchester a week last Saturday.

Despite the website assuring us the bus number we were waiting for was scheduled.

We gave up after 45 mins in the pissing rain and got an uber.

Yeah my dad had plenty of tales about that route!!

I was on the 192 with him when I was a kid and as we were driving down Stockport Road and there was a sports shop near levenshulme market and the new purple 92 away kit was in the window and my dad said "were having that!"

Driving back into Manchester he stopped the bus outside the sports shop with the bus full, jumped out of the cab and ran into the sports shop. 5 minutes later he came back with the shirts for me and him while the passengers had no idea what was going on!!
