Which is the most frustrating and annoying part

No wonder Hughes job is rock solid, doesn't even have to come up with excuses for himself, the fans will do it for him!

Fact is, Bolton have been fucking gash all season and they outplayed us in the first half and barring a few 10 minute periods in either half we were absolutely woeful. Adebayor was a complete passenger, Barry seems to have lost 5 yards never mind half a yard, Kompany coming back from injury but was still awful, Richards back to his old self defending, Toure no leadership, Lescott poor. Drops Robinho for Bellamy, who, don't get me wrong, deserves his place in the side, but was awful today and lacked his usual energy and bite and then gets himself sent off (poor decision it was but he was needling the ref all game and needed taking off to shut his mouth). Awful performance against an awful side. No excuses can be made for the result.

Certainly if i was a spuds fan i would be looking for some razor blades - but if we have hopes of top 6 or indeed top 4 or even winning something we need these are the games that really define the team - we failed today - there is no question mark over our forwards / attacking midfield but our defending can be woeful
