You will be able to see in daylight that the statues are good likenesses.

Nice touch to put the names of other players around the top of the plinth.

IMO Bell, Lee, Summerbee don't need statues to be remembered, and even if they do, the statues shouldn't be at the Etihad.

Statues for players is a load of nonsense.

I just watched the short video back and it was Franny. His illness had obviously affected his speech badly but he was talking about how much the statues looked like them.

Warming to know Franny at least saw picturest before he passed. Genuinley brought a few tears seeing him like that though.

The 3 statues of Sergio, Kompany, Silva are excellent. My only disappointment is Sergio’s statue isn’t depicting the very moment and pose when he struck the ball to score the goal that won City the title, rather than him celebrating and waving his shirt in the air after he scored that famous goal.

PS. Joey Barton should have got a statue of him receiving the red card. It changed the game and the destiny of the PL title.

I get what you mean but there were many instances of Kun looking like in your photo. Only one of him running swinging his shirt after winning us the league :)
