Unlikely that it will disturb you much in Droylsden, certainly no more than the crowd noise from Eastlands.

Bit precious imo, proper nimby. Don't you think the residents around Eastlands had issues regarding noise, litter, traffic congestion etc when City's move to the stadium was proposed.

A bit more tolerance wouldn't go amiss, an average speedway meeting consists of a max 20races, usually only 15, each race last around a minute, thats the only part you would get to hear from such a distance.

In addition, new silencers have been introduced recently within the sport, they will further reduce the inconvenience faced by anyone local.
