spoke to a friend of mine in glasgow who is in the know with celtic, and Craig Bellamy met with club officals last week to discuss a possible move.

Im adamant this cant possible happen can it ?

I would imagine this is a lot less likely now they have been knocked out the champs league.

Saying that though with McGeady being sold for around 10 million then they might spend a wedge of that getting in either Bellamy or Keane.

if he's not gonna be happy with City (bench warming),then i think he will go elsewhere.
He was well liked at Celtic, same with City.
Would be a great coup if Celtic brought him back.
Celtic will shortly be getting £10m for McGeady (yeah,i know),Lenny's been told he can have the lot.1 year loan possibly ?.

surely celtic cant afford bellers wages or even transfer fee?
I mean we would be wanting at least 6 million ?

If they sell McGeady & Desmond covers some of the wages as he did with Keane, then there is a very real chance of this happening.

Hopefully it doesn't though.

Any Celtic fan I've spoken to up here, would far prefer to have Bellers back than Keane.

Celtic have plenty of Forwards and Wingers even with McGeady going, dont they really need a quality Keeper now Boruc has gone. Given is probably a Celtic fan, so we might loan him to em till Jan instead.

My mate seems certain this will happen, is that the general feeling in glasgow at the moment?

I've not heard a peep to be honest, but if Celtic really wanted him, they could afford him on loan, depends if Lennon wants to have a player who's wages are subsidised by the owner and are twice that of anyone else in the squad.
