Ben Mee has gone to Burnley on a season long loan according to the Burnley fans forums

22 in a couple of months, sadly I think this loan is just delaying the inevitable. Shame as he is a big blue and was captain at youth and reserve level. If he'd have broken through, he would have played for the shirt for his entire career. He'll be a PL defender in 1-2 seasons I reckon.

.............shape me anyway you want me, as long as you love me, it's alright.

Obviously signed for Burnley this afternoon

Any chance you could give us an insight into this lads abilities?

I presume he is going to come in as competition for our left sided centre back slot but at 5ft 11in he isn't the tallest, is he strong and commanding in the air or will he find the hustle and bustle of the football league difficult?

What are his strengths and weaknesses and is he eventually going to be a Premier League standard centre half or one who will find his level playing lower down the football ladder?

Many thanks

My sort of humour! Clever stuff. (The younger ones might need enlightening with a d.)

If his words haven't been twisted here, this is not good for him:

“It’s hard to be optimistic.

“I don’t think City are going to stop buying any time soon. Just when you think you’ve done well on pre-season tour, you’re back in the reserves.”
