Basically the taxes paid by all sports games we attend including football, horse racing etc and the gambling tax that comes from the betting, I did mean to say the likes of the FA and PL of course, my bad !

We spend money whatever we do but at the match a large slice of the money has already been spent ie season tickets

Because the test hasn't come back yet.

If the test comes back positive then the whole squad will be in isolation.

If I’m not at the match on Saturday I’ll either be taking my daughter somewhere or taking Mrs Becker shopping both of which scenarios entail me spending much more than I would at the match

Chances are you would make up for going out on Saturday and spend that same money on the Sunday instead.so thats double the money for our government.

The Madrid link is more direct as the basketball player who tested positive used the same facilities as the footballers. Unless Mendy's relative tests positive there's no requirement for the rest of the squad to self-isolate.

I wouldn’t be surprised once Cheltenham finishes tomorrow that all other sporting events will be cancelled. To much money to be lost if they cancel events before the end of Cheltenham.

I don’t wish illness on anyone but if they do have the virus then this added to the Arsenal and Leicester situations could hasten the cancellation of the league
