If Bendy is the straw that breaks the prem league back can we get him a medal minted please? Bendy likes medals and he would have truly earnt it if he helps to stop the dippers from winning the league!
I would say lawsuits would get nowhere in court, this is almost a war footing or act of god, who would they sue, the Chinese? There will be lawsuits whatever they do
Not sure mate, sorry. Why is my name on the post you have replied to when I didn’t actually post it?
There wouldn’t be lawsuits over whether or not to continue playing. No club will have their lawyers standing up in court and arguing that we should have continued playing. They would be over how the PL resolves the issue of a curtailed season. Which clubs are relegated (or are denied promotion), which clubs get the European places, whether or not the season is declared null and void. You’re probably right, regrettably. Because there really, really shouldn’t be.
Any club that even considers a lawsuit against the authorities for a decision taken in the interests of protecting public health and saving lives would be beneath contempt. Not winning a title, getting promoted, or qualifying for Europe - all spectacularly irrelevant when set against what’s going on here.
Time for everyone to show a bit of decency and understanding - however tough it may be on those most immediately affected.
The would sue the PL for damages as a result of being relegated, or denied promotion, or not getting a European place, or not being awarded the title etcI would say lawsuits would get nowhere in court, this is almost a war footing or act of god, who would they sue, the Chinese?
Like I said these are exceptional circumstances I don’t think it would get anywhere and people would look on teams as a set of twats if they did.The would sue the PL for damages as a result of being relegated, or denied promotion, or not getting a European place, or not being awarded the title etc
