It may be harsh but he offers a completely different option at LB. Not worse necessarily but different. If the tactics call for a Mendy style LB in the semis then so be it.

Love the fact he’s right in there in every team photo after the match. Seems to have a cracking personality.
Can’t wait to see him in the team again.

Does that mean "no way will I be ready" or "you betcha buddy"?
 
If we were to win the Premier League Mendy would need 1 more appearance to qualify for a winners medal. If he's not back for the end of the season I wonder if they would give him 2 minutes in the final game.
 
He has his latest update in the times today , looks a bit more scripted but now running outside
