Berlusconi's Obama 'Tan' Joke...

Was it racist or just a joke? Are the media being over sensitive? Personally, I didn't see the harm in mentioning Obama being 'young and having a nice tan', because that's what the Italians seem to thrive on, having a nice golden brown colouring! Sven's Nancy is a perfect example!!

Opinion is seemingly divided, but over the top, in my particular opinion.

Exactly what I was thinking! The world is too sensitive sometimes, as the fella is well known for tanning his arse off, I think it was nothing more than a poor attempt at a joke.

Technichally, you are correct(for once), of course, BUT crucially Obama sees himself as a MAN, first and foremost and Black afterwards. His skin tone makes him more ACCEPTED in the Black community than the White, simply by virtue of how light/ dark, he is seen as.
