1 i thought halford left the club when the arabs came in. sure i read somert about him being treated quite badly too

2 when the fuck and what the fuck is brian marwood doing at our club...i mean last time i saw him he was commentatin on prem plus..whats he doing here
 
Marwood has been there for a while. Can only think he's in to take over from Aldridge but you're right, what the fuck has he done so far??
 
Fuck me ....... i thought for a moment there we were entering some kind of double act on Britains got talent!

But as it happens Mr Marwood has been here for some months now in his new role as Citys 'football administrator' ...... a kind of 'thank you' no doubt for assisting Mr Cook during their days at Nike!

It's known as jobs for the boys ...... and in truth probably means that he writes the clubs lunch time menus out each day on a blackboard!
 
When all is said and done i dont think there have been many greater servants to our club than Bernard Halford. A lifetime devoted to Manchester City
 
what on earth have people got against marwood? i thought aldridge was public enemy number one (c.f. trying to sell players behind hughes back in pre-season), let's at least be grateful someone else is taking over this vital role. maybe we could even give him a chance and judge him on his performance.

you can call it jobs for the boys, but the flipside is that cook trusts him, and he certainly has the football experience and contacts to make the role work.
 
We needed someone who knows about football on the board, how the fuck can a few guys make decisions about a football club without any of them knowing anything about football?

Bernard Halford is most certainly still at the club - and is an integeral part of it.

The Brian Marwood story was never a secret............ and that was ages ago
