Yeah it looks it but the great thing with football predictions and fans feelings on the squad we will find out if we wrong or right by the end of the season! Last season with the injured we just just got over the line, think we hoping not to get injuries on our most important players come the business end of the season…

Bernardo wants to leave. That may not be now but it will be in Jan or next summer. It really is of no consequence what we as fans want when that's the reality of it. I'm very cool with him leaving if we get it on our terms and aren't left short

I maintain, the fact Pep, Txiki, Ferran and Khaldoon were all over their last night, means there was an opportunity beyond just that great cause for our club. Its Khaldoon being part of it that makes you think?

Our guys are the best, If they could play Barca and Pep gets to improve his system, that is what they will do, without harming the relationship.

Forget the garbage about loyalty to Barca, there is a healthy relationship of course but anyone on here that doesn't understand that City come first for Pep and the rest, is, well Foolish!

Bernardo is a top level player but he's not the best in the world. There are better, take off the rose tinted specs.

I would be disappointed if he goes but he wants out...

If the outcome is Pep improves the squad/system and a player who has agitated a move leaves, then great one less headache!
This summer is the first real transition we have had from Pep since he took over and Bernardo is 28.... not 25 or under.
Its clear Pep is building again and it will take a little time, worth remembering that?

Despite all the above still 2nd...!

Half the posters on this thread believe the rambling tweets from someone they've never heard of claiming to have inside info rather than those that actually know the score.

Replaced Steffen with Ortega (like for like). Replaced Zinchenko with Gomez (like for like). Replaced Fernandinho with Phillips (upgrade). Replaced Sterling with Alvarez (downgrade, for now). Replaced Jesus with Haaland (upgrade).

You lost me when you said Phillips is an upgrade on Ferna. More energy maybe, but upgrade?

Zinc is better than Gomez
Jesus better than Alvarez
Dinho better than Philips.

Given that neither were going to play many games due to Rodri being the undisputed first choice, I would've rather we just kept Fernandinho for one more year than sign an injury prone Phillips to be honest. I think he could've still done a job and his presence in the dressing room was invaluable.

Yeah me too and it was another fantastic end of the season come back to win the league I feel though we were on the edge injury wise..
