Sorry if this has already been posted but I didnt see anything on it. Anyone going tommorrow?

Bert Trautmann’s legendary Blues career is to be celebrated at a gala, star sprinkled lunch at CoMs on April 9.
A limited guest list of 250 people will be present to dine with the goalkeeping great in the Citizens Suite.

The top table will feature City ambassadors, other goalkeeping legends, and players who played in the same side as Bert.

The event will be hosted by Fred Eyre and include an interview question and answer session with the Hall of Fame member.

The 2009/10 season marks the 60th anniversary of Bert’s transfer from St Helens Town to Manchester City. There is a new biography charting Trautmann’s journey from German Prisoner-of-War to Footballer of The Year and each guest will receive a copy of the book.

The lunch is the same weekend that the Blues host Birmingham City, the team against whom Bert famously broke his neck during the FA Cup final of 1956.

The price is £45 inc vat (to Include four-course meal, Bert Trautmann Interview and Q & A, other City Goalkeeping Legends, signed copy of Bert’s new biography). Schedule:

Wonder if old baconface will be there. He might be a able to explain to Bert the meaning of his 'typical German' rant.

interestingly or not,the only players still alive were numbered 1-4.Trautmann Leivers Little Barnes.Last one who died was Roy Clarke in 2006.

What a gentleman this guy is, he was signing autographs for hours at a time.
What a great day is was aswell, got a 1956 replica shirt signed by him aswell. Thats getting framed and put up on the wall.
