I can't believe none of the "cool Kids" have been on to tell us The Beatles wouldn't have enough good songs to make a cd and how overrated they were.

Very good selection but Something was a single.

Something was originally definitely a track on Abbey Road (side 1 track 2) as was Here Comes The Sun (side 2 track 1). I know as I'm holding the LP. Might have been released as a single later

I'm confused as to why your CD has 2 sides?

Other than that I can't see how you can restrict The Beatles to just one CD, even discounting singles and EPs. There's just too much to choose, in fact if you wanted 14 tracks that were poor by The Beatles to fill a CD I suspect you'd struggle.

You've Got To Hide Your Love Away
It's Only Love
Every Little Thing
Norwegian Wood
If I Needed Someone
She Said She Said
And Your Bird Can Sing

Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds
I Am The Walrus
Dear Prudence
I'm So Tired
Blackbird
Don't Let Me Down
A Day in the Life

From original LPs which did have 2 sides. My original post was meant to cover those tracks on Beatles albums only from Please Please Me (1963) to the final Let It Be (1970) discounting singles, EPs and compilations (eg red and blue albums). Eleanor Rigby was later released as a double A side single with Yellow Submarine and as Bill Walker says Something was a later single owing to popularity of the original LP tracks.

Much better than list 1
