best b and b's in england

If you are incorporating it with a night out in town then you can do worse than this place,

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.velvetmanchester.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.velvetmanchester.com/</a>

Stayed a couple of times (with my Mrs) and it's been bang on, fairly opulant rooms, decent breakfast, not mad money for city centre well worth a look if you're staying local.

It depends on quite a few things - budget, distance to travel, big city centre or quiet village, evening entertainment etc.

I'd go for a small town thats easy to get to and from. They're a good compromise between village and city and many have quality amenities.

The Seed Hill b&b is good.

If you don't know about Ingleton, it's about 1 hour from Manchester. It has a waterfall walk that will kill about 3 hours. The first shop you'll see after it is the inglenook chippy! There's also a cave walk(englands biggest at the time I went).

There are two pubs in the village. One's just a boozer, one's a restaurant and pub.

The fry-up in the b&b is awesome.

My photo's on the walk:

Great pictures, bring a few distant memories back for me, did that falls walk around 25yrs ago, used to be a wooden hut cafe at the top, a welcome sight after the climb, was for me anyway.

Stayed in a b&b there but it was shite, obviously not the one you mention, good shout though, think I may return to Ingleton this summer.

If you fancy visiting The Gower, this is a great B&B...

Buckingham Palace is good or so my mate who works for the Mirror tells me.

The Howbeck in Windermere was very good.
