We're going to win the league, ffs. More than once. A lot more than once.

just thinking back to the other season when middlesborough beat us 8-1 and to today.

our line up then

Isaksson, Jihai, Corluka, Dunne, Ball, Ireland, Gelson, Petrov (Elano 71), Garrido, Vassell (Hamann 62), Mwaruwari (Castillo 13). Dunne got a red card in first half.

todays line up.

25 Hart
04 Kompany
05 Zabaleta (Richards 64)
06 Lescott
22 Clichy
18 Barry
19 Nasri
21 Silva
42 Y Toure
10 Dzeko
16 Aguero (Savic 75)

I'm so glad some of our 70's starts are still around to see the team especially a massive blue like Buzzer, so gutted the likes of Mercer, Allison and Young ect.. aren't around to see the club today they would be so proud.

All though it's a "negative" substitution, getting Savic on the pitch in the last two games shows Bobby's intention with him. I do hope Savic gels and can take a starting spot soonish. If either Kompany or Lescott get injured, we are in a bit of a pickle. No disrespect to Toure, but the middle of the defense is our weak spot as far as depth.

Oh Jesus not that thumping at Middlesbrough the one that gave MH the excuse why we were so sh*t in his first season. It had nothing to do with him being clueless tw*t and out of his depth.

That game has a lot to answer thankfully Mancini has been able to sort the chaps out and get them over it now.

It's not just our starting 11, we've also got the strength in depth. The best team in the land, in all the world!

The best team accolade is only awarded at the end of a double season that has seen us lift the PL title AND the Manchester/Stretford derby double in each season. That would be the best City team I've seen - even eclipsing the team that included Dave Ewing.
