Why do you think Salah get away with throwing himself on the floor when the defender was nowhere near him, even though it was obvious simulation?

Because the referee's make a conscious decision to ignore it, same as they do with Slabhead holding in the box.

Agree iceman. I'm sure there was some mention of a clampdown on simulation 2 or 3 seasons ago, sod all's happened. For me this situation needs to be the next big initiative in the game. Call it out at all levels, commentators, post match interviews, the lot. These refs need to grow some bollocks as well.

Refs are too cowardly to put a stop to it but are ruining the spirit of the game.

they could start by handing out bookings with say, 2 dive bookings immediately lead to at least a 2 match.
Salah would end up only playing 50% of games.

To a greater or lesser degree every team has a player that will take full advantage of an opportunity or even cheat to gain such.It has become the norm,and almost an accepted practice.

It hasnt done the game any favours.
