Best/favourite commentator?

Jonathan Pearce always seems fair and balanced to me.

Most of them adore the rags to the point where they cream themselves every time they score.

Can't stand Tyldesley - in the United 2-2 Porto game he used the nicknames 'Ronnie' and 'Wazza'. He's not just a United fan, he's a prick.

Don't really like any of the ITV lot, and BBC aren't much better.

It's all about Sky really. Martin Tyler's usually quite fair and although Andy Gray's a clown he's quite entertaining with it.

Cant stand Alan Parry. Jonathan Pearce is okay. In the past best commentator was Gerald Sinstadt or Barry Davies.

I agree he really wanted us to win. Can't remember his name.

He is, but in his early days with Granada he actually hid it quite well and was pretty decent. Listen to his commentary of the Granada highlights of the 1989 5-1 derby and it's actually terrific stuff.

Since he became the main ITV commentator, he's become virtually unlistenable to - especially, of course, when he does a Rags European game. Every time I hear that sickening pharse, "That wonderful night in Barcelona," I want to punch and punch his face until it's just a bloody pulp.
