Best finisher

My choice has to be Messi.

Be it the cool Chippy McDink for his first last night, or the countless other goals he's scored by placing the ball just out of the reach of the goalkeeper, he's an astonishingly good finisher.

He has the mental wherewithall to stay calm and be composed at just the right time, an attribute easily forgotten due to the prominence of his technical ability, and his goals last night were case in point.

Always a man for the big occasion, best in the world? Yep. Best of all time? Possibly. But regardless of his vision, dribbling etc; his ability to simply put the ball into the net, I believe, is second to none.

Robin van Persie. The guy could hit the top corner with power from miles out. Technically, one of the best strikers around.

plenty of better finnishers than messi around to be fair, van nistelrooy (dirty rag **** but what can you do?), Raul and Di Natale are in my opinion still the best finishers (in the aspect that they can just slot the ball in the net from any angle), even though they're old. i'd put Villa above Messi in terms of finishing aswell, any day.

in the prem its probably Tevez and Suarez, Aguero aswell obviously. and Torres if he sorts his shit out.

All of the ones I have mentioned are pure instinct finishers, I have purposely left out Henry and players of his ilk because they had high quality technique to go with it.
