Best football moment not involving city

For me it has to be the 1970 World Cup, it wasn't just that the ball seemed to float because of the satellite lag and the sound followed suit, it was the romanticism of seeing players and teams that you had never seen before it was different.

FFW to now and you have the waistcoat picking loads of mundane players playing in a nothing tournament where the novelty has pretty much worn off.

My friends, the Prairie Street Pub was full that night for the deciding match of the Tatu-era Dallas Sidekicks' quest to win the Major Indoor Soccer League trophy.

England vs Holland in Euro 96.
It was the best England game i've been too, they played great and i thought we were going to win the whole thing

No particular order:
Denmark winning euros
Platts winner v Belgium
Blackburn winning prem (stopping the rags)
Gascoigne goal v sweaties euro 96
1970 World Cup final
