toss up for a few....new order at gmex around 92 was good....but the james gig at gmex was also a cracker.

have seen some great groups...smiths at the hacienda....madonna at the hacienda....james @ the academy......happy mondays @ the apollo & G-mex

would have to say its stone roses @ spike island, just for the madness of having a manc band within spitting distance of merseydive...was at the recent heaton park gig and the poor sound ruined it on the friday night.

for sheer enjoyment Dee-Lite @ the acdemy backed by PM Dawn.

I went 2 days after the stage collapsed, think it was a Wednesday.

At the end of the gig they had Joe Strummer, Lynval Golding and Kirsty Macoll on stage with them.
