Best headed goal by a City player...

How about Henry Newton diving header from the edge of the area. Fantastic own goal for City at Goodison in the early 70's. Think we won the game too.

I am surprised that no-one has mentioned the diving header by Johnnie Crossan against Huddersfield in 1965-66. City and Huddersfield had been battling for top place all season. City won 2-0 at Maine Road in front of 48,000 on, or around the new year. That was almost 40,000 more than City were drawing a year before.

Only one winner for me....

"Early cross, chance at the far post, Hinchcliffe, that's just marvellous stuff"

Some of my favourites.

Not the best, but my favourite is the goal Joleon scored a couple of seasons ago where it came off the side of his head and he didn't know he'd scored. His reaction was brilliant

Head like a 50p piece, that boy.
