Another vote for the Soundmagic PL30s. Great headphones especially considering the relatively cheap price.

I'm an audio nut - tube amp set ups and everything. I use high end Shure earphones for plane travel and exercise. I have a pair of Sennheiser cans I also use (HD280). Very happy with both. I've found myself using the Sennheisers more and more, even using those for plane trips. They fold up quite well and just disappear when you wear them. I think Bose are way overrated. If you aren't using FLAC or 320 bit rate, I wouldn't go super high end on any headphones. Meaning, I don't think you'll see any meaningful improvement over a 100 quid pair of anything.
