Best headphones for an Ipod..

Sennheiser CX300-II highly recommended. I have them myself.

These! Can be picked up for about £15 on play.com

Best budget ones you can buy

Sennheiser CX550's are worth a shout too, i upgraded to them after being impressed with the CX300's. I've always been a fan of earbud headphones though.

I've got skull candy ones for my iPod. They were £10 on sale. Earphones are quite perishable so spending big money seems pointless.

Another vote for SoundMagic.

Do you have a set skashion?

They are probably the most satisfying thing I've ever bought

(value for money-wise)

I do indeed. I went and browsed through all the hardcore audiophile forums looking for the low budget best value for money earphones and the PL30s and PL50s were the consensus vote. So I bought them and was shocked at how big a difference it made. Would never buy anything less now. I would never buy what those guys buy though. Blowing up to a grand on earphones, £300 at least to join the club basically. I just couldn't justify that. Those guys must have money to burn.

They are fantastic aren't they?

I may look into the pl-50's if the ones I have die on me.

Yep, but it's best to steer clear of the marketplace sellers if you do buy them because they're likely fake.
