Best Indian Restaurant In Manchester

Great Katmandu in West Dids (for no apparent reason) went down hill a few years ago. Haven’t tried the other West Dids Nepalese mind.
Tiffin Room always grabs good headlines.
Anybody tried Asha’s (from Brimful of Asha fame) on Peter Street?
I’ve been to Asha’s a couple times. I’m not a curry enthusiast but I thought it was great. Can recommend Sindhoor as well. One in Prestwich and one in Didsbury.

Most of these recommendations are over a year old.

Is the Indian Plaza in Audenshaw still a good shout ?

All input welcome.

Cheers.

Certainly is fella.
Didn't actually realise until last time I went in, but a few lads actually go in to order a takeaway, and take the opportunity of having a couple of pints whilst they wait.
Might try this next time to get an hours peace and quiet :)

Moved away to Pickering in August and have returned to Failsworth twice and have fallen in love with the Desi Lounge after a self imposed ban over table allocation ( this was after spending a load for a family do ) a guy thing ?
Well its a case of cutting you're nose off etc. Had two great meals, the lamb nihari to die for.

Didsbury, upstairs above a bank I think, not sure of name. I’ve never seen so much red food colouring in a curry.

It was fucking wank and expensive to boot.

Prefer the Bangladesh restaurant's, much milder than the Desi which is Pakistani fare, very hot !!!

I can’t eat Indian food.

I have to have the shits before the meal is finished.
