Nah his debut was a 3-0 win against Birmingham, he was a level above everyone that day.

The 6-0 was in the league cup a few days later I think, Huckerby got 4

To make his debut more remarkable, he only got off a plane a few hours earlier. I used to sit behind Mike Pickering and he told us, that he was on the same plane as Ali.

very very difficult this question. We have seen so many wonderful moments and lest not forget Agueroooooooo!!

An amazing performance from an amazing player.

Got to agree he was special that day against Sheffield Wednesday . He wasn't too shabby on his debut against Birmingham . One of the best players I have seen in a City shirt . Just wished we had bought him when he was younger .

I seem to recall Tueart having a blinder against Newcastle during his first spell with us.

The first performance that I thought of was Weaver v Ipswich.

Didn't see Ali B at Weds but his debut was memorable: so good that you just knew he would get us promoted.

All of those, plus Kinkladze away at Southend and Hart away at Spurs in a 0-0 draw
