Best individual performance you have ever seen.

What's the best single individual performance of any city player or opposition player at city you have ever seen??

I am going for Paulo wanchope at Leeds and berbatov once for spurs.
 
Wanchope was one of the best individual City performances I've seen. Weaver against Ipswich is a good call. Berbatov against us for Tottenham but I remember being blown away by Jurgen Klinsmann in the 5-2 game and Domitrscu was bloody good that day. I remember Peter Barnes getting a 10/10 one game can't recall who against though and Denis Tueart v Notts County one evening game I think when he scored 3 or was it 4?

Yeah he was but couldn't pick all the best individual performances wouldn't be any left for the rest ;)
 
Remember Jurgen Kholer at the swamp years ago , single handily kept the rags out on his own

Always remember that game because of one save in particular
At the Platt Lane end the Ipswich striker shot and it looked a certain goal and when the whole stand jumped up i thought the ipswich fans were in there till i realized Weaver had got to it.
Shame he never lived up to his early potential
 
have to agree with the op. wanchope at leeds always sticks in my mind as one of the best performances i've seen from anyone in a city shirt, quite sure he'd only flown in from costa rica hours earlier too!
and berbatov for spurs in the cup game was pure class, played our defence single handed that night.

Was it Ipswich. Always had in my mind Norwich. A night game?

Also kinky away at leeds. One nil win. Gerry fuckin Creany winner.
 
Dre I say cantona when they came back in the second half was one of the best.
 
Against us, the best performance I have ever witnessed was Zola for Chelsea at Maine Road in 2002-ish.

They beat us 3-0 and Zola was phenomenal.

Chelsea took him of after 70 minutes or so and the whole ground gave him a standing ovation.

Then, cos it was pissing it down and we were in the Gene Kelly, we fooked off home - City were never gonna score that day!!
 
Neil Shipperly in the 0-4 against us. We were the best team by far that year and he as the main reason for big home defeat.

White v Villa for us.
 
One from back in the dark ages; I remember us playing Chelsea at Maine Road, around '77 or '78 and Peter Barnes was up against Graham Wilkins (brother of ''my word'') and you had to feel sorry for Wilkins junior. Barnes ripped him to shreds that day and, IIRC, Wilkins ended up getting sent off in the second half (just one tackle/foul too many). Oh yeah; City won 6-2 (I think!).
