At Fillmore East - Allman Brothers Band
Got the album. Must have been special.

Oh, I wasn't there...I was just saying, as far as live shows, that one is pretty spectacular...

Yes, very good shout, the more you get reminded of great stuff like this, means you need an immediate blast of it.

That I was at...

Bruce Roundhay park 85
Prince NEC love sexy
Public enemy the Apollo 92
Iron Maiden the Apollo 86
Happy Mondays - anywhere & everywhere 87/88

That I've heard/watched clips of:

Simple Minds in New Jersey summer 84
Quo Milton Keynes 84
Talk Talk Montreax 86
Neil Young Farm Aid - first time

I'd better stop there

(and yeah I agree Karen, Coldplay did put on a brilliant stadium show at our place last year)

Saw GP and The Rumour supported by South Side Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
around the same time at the Palace, great gig
but nothing compares to the first time I saw Bruce live
at the Apollo in 1981.Although I’ve seen him over 20 times now and ther’re all great shows.
Best live album I’ve heard in years is ‘Live Drugs’ The War on Drugs

I’ll have to give that live drugs album a listening. I’m on a serious Kurt Vile kick right now.
