Bar Vitelli in Palmero, in another scene, is on my list of places to visit.

Bar Vitelli is actualy in a small town called Savoca near Taormina.
(The church where Michael Corleone got married is just down the road
and actually has a Godfather museum in the chapel!). I went there on a
Godfather tour a few years ago. Francis Ford Coppola wanted to shoot
the scenes in Palermo but it was to expensive apparently. Recommend the
tour if you ever go there.

It's brilliant. Me and Mrs PPT did a private tour. Two very good looking Sicilian girls turned up to do the tour!
They take you to all of the film scene locations then play the scene on an iPad then tell you all about it. Absolutely loved it! Taormina is a really lovely place if you haven't already been.
