Well the window has closed, theres been over 400 million pounds spent, but what represents the best single deal MCFC/non MCFC.

For me

Best buy has to go to Spuds, how they get a player the class of Adebayor for £5 million is a joke, the Marwood detractors have a point there. Fair enough we didnt want/need him but surely the fee should be nearer at least double that considering his successful loan spell

Best deal for us? I'm gonna go for Rodwell. Average debut but I've liked what I've seen in an nEverton shirt. I like what I hear about Nastasic but I won't be alone in saying I don't know enough about the kid & I expect good things from Sinclair, If he gets anywhere near his goals to games ratio with us as he got with Swansea then at 6.2m we have a bargain.

Thoughts??

I think Dempsey will be a great buy for Tottenham. Liverpool are so stupid for not adding £2M to there offer to get a player that would have been great for them.

And for us, Rodwell is a good shout both for now and for the future. But for who will make the most impact this season, it will probably be Garcia. I think he'll play the most for us this season out of the 6 players we've signed.

We should have given him the extra cash. It would have been MUCH cheaper than buying Garcia and he fit in well with the group.

Dembele is a great buy.Spuds have done very well.

Potentially,according to the hype..... Nasty could be the best.
 
I've been tempted to call him Nasty too. Sounds awful but lets be honest.... If yer a centre back nicknamed nasty yer half the way there already

Have to agree, but hope to fuck I'm wrong and this post gets bumped and thrown back in my face in May 2013.
 
For us it will be Nasty

but if some one had it really good its Swansea with Michu and Hernandez considering their fees and spuds with Dembele, Dempsy and Ade.
 
Dembele gets mentioned is £15m not steep?

Ade £5m 17 goals decent overall Spuds contributions
Dem £15m 1 goal in six from midfield (average) career wise but 34 we're in shit leagues
