Here you go, lovely dog.
Nice dog, nice rabbit.

your three points,
1)betting
2)going to the track
3)depends on the odds and racing form stats.

Then a dog is not for you, smart-arse.

Unless you’d like to have a greyhound trained and - when no longer of use to you - either kill it or save the cost and export it for £5 to be run into the ground, then boiled alive for meat.

I go walking with a woman who has a rescue greyhound. Had its teeth taken out and was used to train fighting dogs, she took it in and calmed it down and spent a small fortune having synthetic teeth put in. It's now a really settled dog, likes other dogs and is getting more used to people. There are some bastards out there.

The only consolation is there are also good people like the woman you mention. We are probably one of the most animal welfare conscious countries in the world yet - in addition to a sizeable minority of callous twats - there’s a fcuk of a lot swept under the carpet.

Factory farming, battery hens, puppy farms, greyhounds, race horses. Out of sight, out of mind.
