As the above poster suggested, Pinball Dreams. That's what came to mind as soon as I saw the thread title.

Other mentions for Speedball 2, Monkey Island 2, Shadow of the Beast 2 and basically any other Amiga game with a 2 after it.

Basically this whole game:





Super Meat Boy has an incredible soundtrack:



There's a video on Youtube of someone playing that on guitar and it's amazing.

Although for sheer irony, I love the fact that this is the music for the most brutal level of the game:



But for legitimately great music, it has to be this:



As good as any film soundtrack.
