Best way to get to Anfield from Lime Street station

Haven't been to Anfield before. Whats the best way to get there from the station? Would I be better off getting the bus rather than the train down from Picadilly? Thanks in advance.

I'll be getting train to Sandhills via Liverpool Central from Lime Street on the Merseyrail / underground service. Its only around 10 mins walk from Sandhills station.
