Best XI post 2008 takeover

Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Dias, Cancelo, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Yaya Toure, Silva, Aguero, Tevez

Ederson
Walker, Kompany, Stones, Clichy
Fernandinho, Yaya, De Bruyne
B Silva, D Silva
Aguero

On their best form I would go for this as a team that would hoover up every trophy.

Ederson
Walker, Dias, Kompany, Cancelo
Rodri
De Bruyne, David Silva
Sterling, Aguero, Sane

Subs
Hart
Zaba
Laporte
Stones
Fern
Bernie
Mahrez
Foden
Tevez

Eddy

Walker
Vinnie
Dias
Cancelo (odd our best LB in a decade is a natural RB)

Dinho
KDB
Yaya

David Silva
Tevez
Aguero

I think we are blessed with an affinity for great midfielders that I had to shift Silva to the wings for Yaya. Couldn't even fit other greats like De Jong, Gundo, Bernardo and of course, our very own City legend Frank Lampard.

Think this would have to be the worst since 2008, although still arguably far far better than most of the City teams I’ve had to watch over the years ;)

Manager: Hughes (ably assisted by Pearce)

Taylor

Nedum
Bridge
Mangala
Berti

Hargreaves
Rodwell
Zuculini

Sinclair
Santa Cruz
Mancini

Subs
Neilsen
Ben Haim
Fernando
Pizarro
Jo
Bony
