Better Call Saul

Nowadays (with social media/forums) when a show is so big and successful it’s impossible to have a final ending to please everyone

It’s always been an issue, how to end a great series, long before social media. Trying to find the middle ground between trying to be too clever, Soprano’s maybe? And just having it peter out. I mean, there’s only so many ways of finishing any story really. They die, live happily ever after, get banged up.

Yeh it’s a tough balance, to be honest when a series has been that good I’m never that fussed about wanting the ‘perfect’ ending - I just appreciate how good it’s been and sad it’s coming to an end

Yep.

Also thought the cameos from Mr White and Jesse were bobbins.
I'm struggling with the timelines between the mid/end of S6 and the start of Breaking Bad. Because that's where I think they dovetail. Goodman being trussed up in White's mobile meth lab points to a bit later into the series.

But I thoroughly enjoyed the whole six seasons, a very very worthwile watch.

I absolutely loved BCS and BB. However, I think with the last few episodes of BCS they tried to be to clever and over egged it. Still very difficult to end a series that had been so good.

Agreed.

I do like a "tail" on a series - i.e. some episodes that show what's happening to the characters after the main climax of the actions/story. Whilst I don'#t think that there was much wrong with the ending, I think that in this case, the 4 episodes was a bit too much when 2 would have been enough.

But that's a minor criticism on what was an absorbing watch throughout.
