Better Call Saul

Ive watched them all so far and while I expected it to be more of a machine gun quick fire gags its obviously been thought out far better than what I envisioned it to be with having multiple story lines to follow.
He still makes me piss my sides completely some of the things he says.

Whats this Tuco scene people are complaining about??

Everything with Tuco in pretty much, but particularly in the desert with the kids who he was gonna kill

Yeah it was a bit shit but first two episodes have been good, saving third and fourth for next weekend.

The whole tucco thing - wow that was bad. It was like the syfy channel level of badness. The bloke who played tucco must be able to live with himself after that. Imagine being the guy that made breaking bad absolutely diabolically shit? Thankfully he was good in bb so hopefully we can all forget about better call Saul and just think of the good times. The first episode was ok but the second was weak and flimsy and just fucking awful at times. Dreading the third episode

The first two episodes of BB were absolutely amazing and set up the whole series.

Four episodes in to "its all good man" and as hard as it is to believe this may be better

For a start, it's not BB. It's a different programme. It's unlikely to be as good as BB because it was a one off. Saul needs to be viewed as a new programme. IMHO it's a good show and worth the effort.

I think people are expecting more from this so early on because they are assuming the world has already been set by BB. I think they should be credited for taking the decision to not just completely rinse BB. There's some interesting storylines developing, love that mike is having regular appearances and his and saul's relationship is brilliant. Whilst the epsiodes themselves are maybe not particularly memorable i feel like it's just laying down the foundations and is going to develop into something special

Maybe I'm thick or wasn't paying enough attention but I didn't understand
that watch/ fake mugging trick at the start of ep4

I took that to be a look at how he was a bit of a trickster in his younger days; leading into his somewhat loose morals that culminated (so far) with taking a bundle from that family to keep quiet.

I mean I didn't understand the trick itself.

Watched the first episode but have decided to hold off for a bit and watch the series in bulk a la Breaking Bad.
