There is a god Barry's gone!!!
With the PSG game done huge 3 games coming up I think if we get 7 points it will be a great return. Get a point at the weekend is a must feel Newcastle will be the hardest game fighting for there lives. Stoke at home always tricky.
I think going into the games the confidence in the team will be Sky high and will bring the best out of our key Players now is the time to prove we can keep this run going until the end of the season.

These games are especially important because United only play two (at home to Villa and Palace - so you have to assume 6 points).

They do not play the weekend we play Stoke because of their FA Cup Semi and that game (West Ham away) is now 4 days before the season ends. So they will have a game in hand on us right to the end.

We cannot let the points gap get to under 4 because if we do and they win that game in hand it means they have control of the last Sunday and only need to beat Bournemouth at home. We could go to Swansea and win and miss out.

So we have to get at least 7 and preferably 9 points from the next 3 to keep as far ahead as possible. And have any room for error against Southampton and Arsenal.

Just hope we can use the CL ties as momentum and not focus on them so much.

Ptentially the CL is bound to matter more to Pelle personally and to some of the exiting players as their big chance for glory - at least ahead of just finishing fourth for a team they will not or may not be at next season.

We shall see which scenario plays out as it will make or break next season for us either way.

It's hard not to get distracted by the Madrid game and the dream of actually winning it. We won't need 4th if we win the damn thing.

True, of course, but if we mess up the games before we play Madrid and fail to get through, let alone win a post season final, then we may find how much missing 4th will cost.

It is a very tricky balancing act and having 3 PL games now in less than 7 days leading into Real Madrid is a huge problem.

There is no way we can expect the CL team to play in all of those as well - despite their (imo) equal importance to the club. Some key players are bound to be rested in at least one of these three league games.

Why has the PL screwed with any team that might have made CL Semis by doing that to everyone? They knew when the SFs would be. Don't they careabout England potentially losing its 4th CL spot after next season?

I know it is partly a result of cup success and cancellations but mid week matches and England weekends off have given no other option. The scheduling this year has been poorly thought out by the powers that be.

Chelsea are without Terry and Hazard and are on the beach already. We should be buzzing for this and can bring Nasri in who looks bang up for it again. Three tough games but three winnable ones. Beat Chelsea with same team as v PSG aside from Silva. Then ring the changes, keep the squad fresh and in form so the challenge for places is strong. Everyone will want to be on that pitch against Real Madrid so we should see renewed energy and focus. If we can win the next three then the Rags will lose hope in their chase. The FA Cup might distract them too.

Could really do with winning the next 3 , that would give us 66 and would probably need one more win but it would mean we could risk resting players against Southampton in the middle of our two Madrid games. It would be a tricky fixture even without the semi finals. Especially if Madrid are still challenging for the Spanish league as well and can't rest players.

Madrid have to go for it too as Barça have imposed and let Atlético and Madrid back into the title race, as do United with being in the FA Cup they'll have a fixture congestion near the end of the season. But weekend when they play Evwrton in the semi final. We could open up an insummountable gap that weekend!

I expect Newcastle to be the toughest game of the next 3, if Norwich win this weekend we could be practically relegating Newcastle with a win there.

Everyone above Palace and below Southampton has virtually nothing to play for.
