Big City Cloth Flags For Ground

I was thinking about this today, like when we all chipped in for the "manchester thanks you sheik mansour" banner. Why dont we do this again and have 4 massive cloth flags to pass over our heads for the ground on match days, one for each stand. im sure if everyone on this forum donated just £1 then we would have enough dosh for it. We could set up a pay pal scheme just like last time so everyone knows its official aswell. if anyone can do some mock ups then that would be great. What do you guys n girls think???

would love this, il chip in a fiver AND IM A STUDENT lol. i asked rik about doing a banner apeal ages ago and he said he already had one planned, i also helped with the BlueWatch "City are back City are back helo helo" banner at the north end of the colin bell stand.
Get it sorted.......

Yeh, things like this and the one they have at Anfield give match day more of an experience and atmosphere! Do it and i'll contribute whatever my student budget will allow.

Ye that sort of thing, IMO everyone bringing a scarf to the match would be better and make it look quality before kick off.
I get all giddy when we start talking about being pro-active lol love it

I'd prefer something original.

I like my mates idea of, 'Manchester City FC, ruining football since 2008'. Then have a few of the more expensive players who we have bought since the takeover in the background, i.e. Robbie, Adebayor, Tevez, etc. A nice dig back at the media.

Whatever is decided I'll happily chuck a few quid in.

It's something I'd love to see, however;

The club only do the one on the East Stand when the end is (I think this is the number) 80% full, which is why I think they've started playing the pre-match music a little earlier to get people to their seats.

This would mean that we could only really have another one in the CB/SS lower as the second tiers are a bit too small (imo) to have a flag, and the north stand/3rd tiers aren't always going to sell out...

But it's defo something that should be looked into. I think Chelsea have about 3 or 4 going round pre-match these days.

On a seperate issue chelski at the start of the season had a banner with ' money can't buy everything' ,or words to that effect when referring to JT .We should counter that with 'But its worth thinkin about eh john',when they come to us
