Gary, Daniel's dad, has asked me to post this on his behalf:

Hi Guys and Girls, time for an update on Daniels last six weeks.
Quite a bit of time spent back in Hope Hospital with Chronic side affects from PCV Chemotherapy and this week spent in Tameside Hospital following the return of full scale seizures last Monday.
Didnt make the match yesterday but after another days sleep was able to get out for a curry with his mates last night in Ashton, back in bed for 10.15pm though.
Extremely tired now, gets up at midday, snooze in the afternoon and bed early evening.
its fair to say that he has not bounced back from this Chemo course and we wait to see what Christies have to say on Wednesday regarding his second course which should have started last week.
Still battling and laughing as we go, but he needs a serious bit of luck now and a good run of health to get a bit stronger.
Lots of visitors from his mates yesterday on his 29th birthday certainly helped, if you remember it was his birthday last year that the diagnosis and surgery took place.
Christmas is our next target, followed by his wedding anniversary in April and another Title in May.
He hasnt forgotten that this seasons Champions League final is again at Wembley, so no need to Fly anywhere.
As always, thanks to the well wishers from Mancityfans and Bluemoon.
Recent photos on my facebook page (gary lewis) feel free to peruse.
Whilst we have a plan, the Glass remains half full
Kind Regards
Gary

Best wishes to Daniel, hope he gets better soon.

Best wishes to him....

A good mate up in Newcastle has been through very similar treatment, with the same devastating effects, but a year and a half on, he is all clear.... so here's hoping the same for Billy....
