Easy win as I fully expected. Bit sloppy towards the end but the job was done.

Excellent first half followed by a typical, and somewhat understandable,2nd half borefest.

routine stuff , a few youngsters got a run out and no injuries , subdued performance by some players and a couple of standouts in Foden and Bernardo , Steffen trated the ball like a bar of soap apart from that , another day at the office . Bring on Brighton.

I'm not one to slag players off, however mendy sticks out in this team, technically he is miles off the rest.

Couldn't have gone any better for Pep that. Early goals, good display got the game won within half an hour and then coasted with no dramas and rested the players he wanted to and got the kids some minutes. Ideal.
