Noticed the forum still has it's frothers and kneejerkers, which is part and parcel of forums I supposed, but I get the impression things have calmed down a bit now and there seems to be a bit of a coming together. Or is it because we beat Chelsea and haven't played since?

Either way, I loved the quote from Captain Kolo on the OS:

"But it won't be easy. Success doesn't just come like that - you have to go through some hard times, and that's when you have to be strong and stick together, to fight for each other."

I'm all for a bit of that!

Forza Mancini, forza celesti

Eet'sa nice-a drink!

(sorry; cheap and borderline racist I guess!)

It's all up to City now ..... and it's up to us not to blow it.

We find ourselves in an excellent run-in position in the Premiership , and we have to make the most of it .......

Mancini might well get away with flops in both domestic cup competitions if he gets City into a 4th place finish ....... and with him reportedly only being on an initial six month contract , if he fails , it could well be his ONLY chance!

I hope he doesn't fail as I am absolutely besotted by our manager. I think he is top drawer and we are properly on the march now.

Young manager. Track record of success as a player and as a manager. Not afraid to try anything to change a game, even if we end up baffled on occasion. Just a classy, out and out winner.

Love him.

Meaning

A radical, and apparently mystical, change.

Origin

From Shakespeare's The Tempest, 1610:

ARIEL [sings]:
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes:
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell

I thank you! (Although seed change has come into common parlance based on the misunderstanding of the original)

Your worrying me now Strongbow, was the above part of the Davinci Code?

Think it might be something to do with the Mourinho cabal!

Okey dokey mate. So we've only been using it for 400 years. ;}

Hahaha! I'm not a pedant but thought I'd look it up because I've always said 'sea' and obviously loads say 'seed'. Seems both are fine.

All I know is that it seems us fans have (at last) started to come together a bit which is the most important thing. I just sense a bit of a belief running through the place now.
