indeed, including the unconscious bias that a couple of honest mistakes based on numerous factual observations and personal experiences in their lives must be evidence of systemic racism and that innocent, tolerant, law-abiding people in this country who just want to get on with their lives on merit and rescue the economy have to be beaten round the head with yet another "you're all racist" accusation. But here we are again...

Which is lovely and all that but the ‘innocent, tolerant law abiding’ people in this example where actually being racist towards her, which is I think a rather pertinent point.

Well, if they mistook her for Beyonce then she probably would have been okay with that.

But they didn’t. No doubt they were too busy being ‘law abiding’ and ’rescuing the economy‘ to allow for the shocking possibility that the young black woman before them could be a barrister.

And aside from the security guard, it seemed all these ‘decent’ people didn‘t have the decency to apologise either.
