Blackburn Away

I know it's a bit far off but with regards to ticket allocation anyone know how much we'll get? and also because I want my younger brother to go will it go down to access holders? Cheers.
We get the whole Darwen End usually, which is somewhere in the region of 7-8,000 I think. Everyone who wants one will usually get one.

every now and then this one goes crazy though, think it was 2 or 3 seasons ago i couldn't get a ticket as a seasoncard holder. last year there were loads of seats in the top tier free apparently, but it was the first away game after a costly semi final trip to wembley.

love blackburn away, my favourite away day by a mile

We were discussing this at Bolton on Sunday.
As last year we only sold about 10% of the top tier we were wondering if they will still give us all the Darwen End.
Apparently only a select few are given the full end

They'll go on general sale, blackburn usually give us a lot, sure they gave us about 7,000 seats last year.

I was talking to a guy in the TO 2 seasons ago about the Blackburn allocation and asked him why at the time I couldn't buy Upper Tier tickets. He was telling me that Blackburn only release tickets block by block as they are sold, not on a sale or return basis. City therefore had to estimate the likely demand and his explained why only lower tier were available to early buyers like me. The Upper Tier became available only when the Lower had sold out. Whilst City will estimated a full end, they hedged their bets against taking all the tickets up front. The same at the time applied to Bolton & Chelsea, the only other clubs in the PL whose computer system couldn't 'talk' to City's.

Now that we have online booking, and since this was operating for the Bolton match, it would appear that the systems are conversing with each other nowadays. I would think that Blackburn will allocate the whole of the Darwen End to us again and judging from the Bolton game I would think it a racing certainty that we will sell-out this year as it's a 3pm KO. My guess is that it will most likely go as far as Card Holders.

cant wait for this

will be my first away of the season and on my birthday!

mine as well. i'll meet you for a celebratory pint.

My son is 18 on the preceding Weds. He's been looking forward for ages to a few pints in the Fernhurst instead of drinking coke whilst his Dad sups Thwaites. Sounds like a lot of celebrations going on that day, even more at 5pm.

I'm not from Manchester, but how easy is it to travel there and back?

are we talking 30 minutes train?
Trains running every hour?
Or best to hop to Preston from there

Any good for a few beers if stopping over?
