We were bloody lucky in that game. We could have been 4 down by half time!

Home fans needed two ticket stubs from previous Blackburn games that season to buy a ticket for that match. It's still beyond me how we had so many in their stands.

Got mine from a Charlton fan I used to know (yes seriously ,I knew one!!) Not sure how he got one? The bloke could be quite a racist, homophobic, sexist idiot after a few beers(it comes out doesn't it!) Was very grateful for the ticket though!! (not that it excuses such bigotry!).
Sitting in the Main (Jack Walker?) stand that day I remember the City fans in the away section being so loud, fantastic noise throughout the 2nd half.
Like most (realistic) blues, I knew we'd struggle the next season. However, like others have said without doubt one of the very best away days.
