has any body heard any thing about this I have just had a letter telling me I have to move next season

Yep, a few have posted in the season ticket dispatched thread and on Twitter. Seems its going corporate. Thought it was next season though

Join the club. I was moved out of the north stand years ago, without any thought or sympathy.

I sit in 125 and it sounds like they will be blocking off the concourse eventually too. So I won't be able to have a drink with a mate in the family stand anymore.
I don't understand why they are creating more corporate, we can't sell out the current set of corporate/premium seating.

Perhaps I`m mistaken but I thought this was proven wrong ?

could it be a indication of the north stand expansion? not sure how many seat this affects but with most games a sell out last season, extra seats would need to be found,(obviously this alone is not enough) just a thought

Well looking every game from the third tier in the south stand the padded seats to the left are never full, not even for the Derby.

I think thats rather optimistic view. I think the club just wants to milk sponsors etc for more money and as they need good seats the traditional fans will again be (effectively) forced to move.

into far flung corners as that will be all that's left, i'm in 201 and i'm sure that will eventually become corporate and if and when it does staying as we are would leave many seat less, so yeah i will remain optimistic

The only seat for life will be at home in your armchair with a remote in hand. Ask most Manchester based rags.

Severa rags said this year's ago to me. They said make sure you enjoy the early days of our transformation as soon be priced out or just fucked off

After moving out of L2 (205) because of expanded corporate about 5 years ago, I've now got a great seat on level 1 in 104 (thisis via two different seats in L3 and another in L1)

I said to my mate that we may have made a mistake as these will be next to swallowed up by the padded seat expansion

I can see the middle blocks of tiers 1, 2 and 3 on both East and West sides being completely corporate before long. Sad really. People sitting in them paid some of the highest prices in the stadium when we were shit, and are now being forced out.

It's all becoming a bit too piecemeal and shows a lack of long term underlying strategy. For me I believe the best option now is to build a new stadium based around our customer demographics, available budgets and long term sustainability. All this 'make it up as you go along' is doing is alienating long term fans and creating a bad impression of no medium to long term vision.

Build a new stadium? We've not long been in this one!!

Media facilities are moving to 127 so we're being kicked out as well. That fat c*** Custis is going to be sat where i've been since we moved from Maine Road.
It's not as if a few extra quid from corporate is going to make much difference with the new tv deal. As has been pointed out we can't even sell the corporate we've got.
